Company Charges Search

What Is A Company Charge?
Company charges are a relatively rarely used search. It is often more useful to use a combination of an ASIC company search (either a current extract or historical and current extract) to provide a summary of the company charges registered and then a document image of the charge document to see the charge specifics.

Further a rough check can be done for free by scanning the document listing provided within ASIC's national name register (click on the red 'Find ACN &/or Check Name' in the box below) for any form 309A's. If there aren't any there, then no charges have been registered over the company. It could save you money and frustration!

Details Provided In A Company Charge
An ASIC company charge provides summaries of satisfied charges registered over the company including fixed and floating charges and in particular, bank guarantees.

Changes in ASIC Company Charge details
From early 2012, only satisfied charges will be available from ASIC. Current company charge details will be available from the Personal Properties Securities Register (PPSR) which will be administered by the Insolvency Trustees Service Australia (ITSA).

Step 1:
Enter a valid Australian Company Number.

Step 2:
Add the search to your cart and follow the easy steps to process your order.
